John A. Tyler
John joined the CFCS Board of Directors in 2011 and was appointed as chair of the Audit Committee. John is the founder and president of Tyler Lynch PC, a Certified Public Accounting and business-consulting firm located in Cambridge. Since becoming a CPA in 1969, he has earned a distinguished reputation for providing counsel to owner-managed businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals.
John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. He is a past chairman of the Massachusetts Society of CPA's Microcomputer Committee.
Additionally, John has published many articles on the use of computers in accounting for a number of prominent business and technical publications. John received a degree in Economics from Yale University and an Accounting degree from Bentley College.
