During 2006 the agency’s board and staff members participated in a process to develop a strategic management plan that will guide CFCS’ planning and operations over the next five years. The plan was designed to address several key prioritized strategic issues related to the development of the agency’s human resources, achieving improved market share of new business within the area of CFCS’ core competencies, potential for increased revenues, and building the agency’s capacity to address the needs of the communities we serve.
CFCS’ strategies to achieve long term objectives include growth through further market penetration along with development of new services for new and existing market segments; financial stability through increased fund raising and revenue generation, improved financial planning and control, improved operational efficiencies; and improved organizational effectiveness to support the execution of the first two strategies.
